    Time: 1 p.m. Buckle-up for a wild ride of science-adventure, above, on, and within the amazing Driftless Region of North America, with Emmy-winning filmmakers George Howe, Tim Jacobson, Rob Nelson, and director Jonas Stenstrom of Untamed Science. You’ll soar high over rugged bluffs, skim the surface of primordial rivers, venture deep underground to mysterious secret worlds, marvel at ancient archeological treasures, and hang perilously over massive rock cliffs with endangered peregrine falcons, all while learning the fascinating story of how this landscape came to be.   • Preserving Lake Pepin Fisheries Boat Tour | Lake Pepin
    Time: 1 – 2:30 p.m. Join LPLA and fishery conservation professionals on the water for a guided tour of the ecosystem projects and deeper insights on the river challenges that will determine the long term function of Lake Pepin. Executive Director Rylee Hince will host and along with agency staff will provide deeper insight on how we can maintain this vital resource for future fishing openers. Location: Launching from the Marina
  • Guided Hike | Frontenac State Park
    Time: 1 – 2:30 p.m. Join us for a guided hike on Frontenac State Park’s Sand Point Trail down to the sandy shores of Lake Pepin through a floodplain forest and wet meadow while learning about the ecology of the lands adjoining Lake Pepin and the flora and fauna that call them home.   • National Eagle Center Live Eagle Program | Hok Si La Park
    Time: 3 p.m. The National Eagle Center will present a fun and engaging educational program about eagles, including facts about their life cycle, behavior, and incredible abilities. Guests will meet one of the Center’s live Eagle Ambassadors, watch the eagle eat its lunch, have the opportunity to take photos, and ask any eagle-related questions they have.
