A garden truly built on love; the land for Clemens Gardens was donated to the city by Bill and Virginia Clemens. The Clemens also funded the establishment and maintenance of the gardens, and eventually funded the construction of the Virginia Clemens Rose Garden in honor of Virginia Clemens who battled multiple sclerosis for 40 years, and passed away in 1998. The six gardens that make up the Clemens Gardens offer a feast for the senses – especially for the eyes. Stroll along the red-brick walkways of Clemens Gardens and you can see firsthand the nurturing that has gone into this series of gardens.
